Web Development, Level II

About the course

Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia is starting the course ‘Web Development-Level II,’ which will quickly take you through the world of JavaScript and Angular JS development. JavaScript and its companions, jQuery and AngularJS, have completely changed the game when it comes to creating rich interactive web pages and web-based applications. JavaScript has long been a critical component for creating dynamic web pages. Now, with the advancements in the jQuery and AngularJS libraries, web development has changed forever.

During the first three weeks we'll examine advanced techniques in JavaScript, in particular will cover object-oriented programming in JavaScript and basics of jQuery. We’ll learn different ways to create classes and how to utilize them in our applications in JavaScript. We’ll first look at the difference between statements and expressions and how functional programming can improve the way that we write code. Finally, we’ll take a look at some of the different debugging techniques and tactics that we can use to help minimize the amount of time we spend debugging our applications.

For the rest four weeks we will learn AngularJS and will be able to build your first Angular application. The course will cover Angular's Views, Controllers, Directives, and more!

What will I be able to do after the course?

During the course you will start a complex individual project, which will be developed, modified and reviewed based on the lessons passed. After completing this course, you will be able to build a few fully functional websites in your portfolio.
