Notably, cybersecurity specialists are among the few professionals in the tech industry whose work cannot yet be replaced by artificial intelligence.
In Armenia, the demand for skilled cybersecurity professionals is also increasing rapidly.
Organizations are looking for experts who can protect systems, analyze cyberattacks, and prevent threats before they even occur.
Anticipating the continuous growth in the need for cybersecurity specialists and recognizing the skills gap in the job market, Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia, CompTIA, and CyHub Armenia – EIF’s Cybersecurity Initiative present the CompTIA Security+ (V7) course.
About the Course
The Security+ course is designed for professionals who want to strengthen their position in the cybersecurity field.
It provides internationally standardized knowledge and practical skills based on CompTIA’s official curriculum.
What the Course Includes
The course includes the following:
- 40-hour intensive program, delivered by an experienced instructor combining international expertise with local context.
- 12-month access to CompTIA’s official learning platform, featuring all training materials, video lessons, and interactive labs for both self-paced and group learning.
- Real-world scenarios and hands-on exercises that allow participants to apply their knowledge by analyzing attacks and designing effective defense mechanisms.
- Progress tracking and skill assessment tools to monitor learning outcomes and focus on areas that need improvement.
- Optional extended package: participants can choose a bundle that includes two CompTIA Security+ (V7) certification exam attempts (exam + retake voucher).

Who Can Participate
The course is intended for individuals who already have a basic understanding of IT and wish to deepen their cybersecurity knowledge.
It is recommended to have general knowledge of the following topics:
- Fundamentals of computer networks (IP, DNS, ports, routers, switches)
- Operating systems (Windows or Linux)
Before enrollment, participants must take a knowledge assessment.
If the participant lacks a prior background in the field, they can first join the Cybersecurity Fundamentals | Prep Course to reach the appropriate level.
What You’ll Be Able to Do After the Course
Upon completion, participants will:
- Identify and evaluate cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities
- Learn how to protect networks, systems, and data from internal and external attacks
- Apply key defensive technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and others
- Understand the principles of incident response and risk management
- Gain hands-on experience through lab-based exercises
The Security+ certification opens the door to entry-level cybersecurity positions both in Armenia and abroad, such as SOC Analyst, Information Security Specialist, and IT Support (Help Desk) Technician.
About the trainer
Martin Ghambaryan is an OSCP-certified instructor with over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity. His expertise covers penetration testing, web application security, network and wireless protection, and secure system design. Throughout his career, Martin has worked with various organizations, helping them strengthen their defensive strategies and reduce cyber risks.

Basic Package
40-hour course + one-year access to CompTIA’s official learning platform.
Fee: 594,000 AMD
Extended Package
Includes everything in the Basic Package + two attempts at the CompTIA Security+ (V7) certification exam.
Fee: 815,000 AMD
