Cybersecurity analysts are responsible for detecting, preventing, and responding to security incidents. This branch of cybersecurity has a rapidly growing global demand. In Armenia, this demand will increase even more with the adoption of the new cybersecurity law.

To help close the significant talent gap in this field, we are launching a new course Cybersecurity analyst (CySA+), aligned with international best practices and designed to prepare real-world security analysts capable of operating effectively in incident detection, prevention, and response.

About the Course

The CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) course is designed for professionals who want to prevent, identify, and respond to system vulnerabilities and potential cyberattacks through continuous monitoring. Successfully passing the certification exam upon completion will serve as strong proof of both theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills.

What the Course Includes

  • 40 hours of intensive training, delivered by an experienced and certified cybersecurity specialist.

  • One-year access to CompTIA’s official learning platform, which provides all training materials, video lessons, and lab environments for both self-paced and instructor-guided learning.

  • Practical scenarios and real-world examples, enabling participants to analyze incidents, identify threats, and design effective defensive mechanisms.

  • A skills assessment and progress tracking system, helping participants monitor their development and focus on areas that need improvement.

Extended Package Option:
Participants may choose an additional package that includes two attempts for the CompTIA CySA+ certification exam (exam + retake voucher).

Who Can Participate

The CompTIA CySA+ course is intended for professionals who already possess foundational knowledge in cybersecurity or IT and want to advance both their theoretical understanding and practical skills.

Participants may include:

  • Entry-level cybersecurity analysts or Security+ certified specialists aiming to progress from Tier 1 to Tier 2.

  • IT professionals with knowledge of networking, operating systems, and security basics particularly network or system administrators.

Before enrollment, all applicants are required to take a short knowledge assessment test to determine readiness for the CySA+ curriculum.

If the foundational knowledge is insufficient, we recommend first completing the Security+ course or Cybersecurity Fundamentals | Preparatory Course to build the required baseline.

What You Will Be Able to Do After the Course

  • Enhance security operations processes, differentiate threat intelligence and threat hunting, and identify malicious activity using appropriate tools.

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, prioritize vulnerabilities, and recommend effective mitigation strategies for vulnerability management.

  • Apply attack methodology frameworks, perform incident response, and understand the incident management lifecycle to handle security incidents effectively.

  • Utilize communication best practices to report on vulnerability management and incident response, providing stakeholders with actionable plans and meaningful metrics.

About the trainer

Martin Ghambaryan is an OSCP-certified instructor with over 10 years of experience in the cybersecurity field. His background includes penetration testing, web application security, network and wireless security, and secure systems design.
Throughout his career, Martin has worked with various organizations, helping strengthen their defensive strategies and reduce cyber risks.
